Billy Goes North to UK’s Blaze

Billy Goes North follows a pest controller in Canada

A+E Networks-owned Blaze in the UK has acquired Billy Goes North, in which a madcap pest controller tackles Canada’s wildlife.

The series, which airs on CMT in Canada, is produced by Proper Television and distributed by Proper Rights.

It sees exterminator Billy Bretherton’s encounters with wolves preying on livestock, beavers flooding country roads and porcupine-infested homes.

Bretherton previously fronted A&E series Billy the Exterminator, which ran for six seasons between 2009 and 2012.

Blaze launched in the UK last year as A+E Networks’ first free-to-air channel in the territory and airs shows such as Pawn Stars, Mountain Men, The First 48 and Unusual Suspects.
