Beyond goes back to CMJ

Australia’s Beyond Distribution has picked up international rights to a new factual copro from Canada’s CMJ Productions II, Investigation Discovery (ID) and Canal D.

A Stranger in My Home is a 10×60’ documentary ordered by ID in the US earlier this year. Each episode takes cases where a trusting victim has invited a stranger into their home and “paid the ultimate price.”

Beyond will present the show at Mipcom later this year. It’s the firm’s third pick-up from CMJ after last summer taking on Fatal Vows – another 10×60’ made for ID and Canal D, about spouses who have killed their partners – and The Will: Family Secrets, about conflicts surrounding deceased celebs’ estates.
