Bell Media purchases Pinewood facility

Canadian broadcast group Bell Media has completed its acquisition of a majority stake in the Pinewood Toronto Studios facility to add to its existing Bell Media Studios.

Nanci MacLean will become president of the 330,000-square-feet facility in downtown Toronto, along with her existing role as VP of Bell Media Studios.

Seasoned production operations director Geoff Grant has been appointed general manager to oversee the daily operations of the studio, reporting to MacLean. Grant was most recently Bell Media’s director of TV operations.
