BBCWW series go with Cablevisión’s Flow

The Honourable Woman is among the dramas to be added to on-demand service Flow

Latin American pay TV operator Cablevisión has acquired more than 50 shows across all genres from BBC Worldwide (BBCWW) for its on-demand service Flow.

Subscribers to Flow, which combines on-demand viewing and access to live channels, will be able to watch dramas including Rillington Place, The Last Post (both available exclusively on Cablevisión in the region) and The Honourable Woman.

Full seasons of series such as Maigret, Luther, The Musketeers and Ripper Street will also be available, as will the latest nine season of Doctor Who.

Natural history programming is included, with series including Wild Patagonia, Animal Super Senses, Natural Born Hustlers and The Hunt all picked up.

Documentaries such as Diana: Seven Days that Shock the World, Meet the Trumps, David Beckham: For the Love of the Game and Prince William & Prince Harry – Prisoners of Celebrity are also included.

Children’s series such as ZingZillas, Go Jetters, The Numtums and Nina & the Neurons will also be available to Flow customers.

Anna Gordon, exec VP executive and MD of BBCWW Latin America/US Hispanic, said: “We are confident that this agreement will soon allow us to extend the presence of our most renowned content to open TV, pay TV and digital platforms, not only in the Southern Cone but also throughout Latin America.”

Antonio Álvarez, programming manager at Cablevisión, said the deal would allow customers to binge-watch series and “enrich our proposal so that customers can enjoy the best content whenever and wherever they want through Flow.”
