E-Vision bags BBCWW content

MIPCOM: Middle Eastern pay broadcaster E-Vision has struck its first exclusive content deal with BBC Worldwide for its SVoD service.

E-Vision has secured a package of BBCWW shows from a range of genres, including dramas War & Peace and Wolf Hall, factual show Wild Mexico and several seasons of comedies Some Mothers Do ‘Ave ‘Em and Citizen Khan.

Music events such as Last Night of the Proms and preschool content Hey Duggee, Go Jetters and Sarah & Duck are also included.

The new programming will be available to E-Vision subscribers.

Owned by telco operator Etisalat, E-Vision operates 550 TV channels in HD, 3D and 4K, and offers 10,000 hours of TVoD and SVoD content to 22 countries across MENA.
