BBC ploughs ahead with Field of Blood

NEWS BRIEF: UK indie Slate Films North started shooting season two of crime drama Field of Blood in Glasgow this week for BBC Scotland.

Field Of Blood: The Dead Hour, about the male-dominated world of 1980s newspaper journalism, is due to air next year. The series was greenlit by Ewan Angus, commissioning editor for BBC Scotland. The first season aired on BBC1 in 2011.
