Banijay’s Cuarzo rejigs team

Banijay-owned Spanish prodco Cuarzo Producciones has appointed a general manager and added to its research and development team.

Xelo Montesinos has been promoted to GM while Victor García Martín has joined the company in an as-yet unspecified role.

Montesinos has been involved with Cuarzo since it was formed in 2000 and has been the production company’s content director for the past six years.

García Martín joins from Big Bang Media, where he was head of new research and development projects.

Meanwhile, Andrea Olivas has been promoted from assistant director to director of Cuarzo’s long-running series El Programa de Ana Rosa.

Ana Rosa Quintana continues to be chairman of the board at Banijay Spain.
