Neill Anthony Private Chef will air on Scripps’ entertainment channel Food Network

US channels group Scripps Networks Interactive has picked up a second run of a South African cooking show from Banijay Rights.

Scripps has acquired broadcast rights to season two of Neill Anthony Private Chef for its entertainment channel Food Network, exclusive to its UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa territories.

The 13-part run, from South African prodco Okuhle Media and hosted by Cape Town-based chef Anthony, will launch on Scripps’ Food Network this month.

Meanwhile, Australian pay TV broadcaster Foxtel has acquired rights to the show’s first two runs for its Lifestyle Food channel. Foxtel will premiere the programme in May.

Last week, Banijay Group rebranded its international sales arm a year after its merger with Zodiak Media, moving away from the Zodiak brand.

Zodiak Rights, which endured following the combination of the two companies last February in place of its opposite number’s distribution wing Banijay International, has been duly renamed Banijay Rights.
