Badly behaved OAPs go to series

UK broadcaster Channel 5 has taken its one-off documentary OAPs Behaving Badly to a full series, which will air in 2015.

The 6×60’ series will follow more members of Britain’s ageing population as they spend their pensions, winter fuel allowances and children’s inheritance on cheap booze, late nights, foreign holidays and karaoke.

The show follows on from the first documentary which aired in July and attracted 2.2 million viewers with a 9.6% share, according to Viacom-owned C5.

OAPs Behaving Badly is produced by London-based indie Barcroft Productions and distributed by Shine International, the sales and distribution arm of Shine Group. Executive producers for Barcroft Productions are Sam Barcroft and Nina Davies, while Guy Davies commissioned the series for C5.
