Autentic in Euro factual sales spree

MIPCOM: Broadcasters across continental Europe have acquired more than 100 hours of factual content from Germany’s Autentic Distribution.

Buyers include Poland’s Polsat Group, which bought a package of titles led by German weekly motor magazine show Grip for its male-skewing channel Polsat Play.

Estonia’s Kanal 2 has also picked up more episodes of Grip (50×45′), as part of a renewed multi-title package deal with Autentic. The agreement also includes Hot Roads – The World’s Most Dangerous Roads (10×45′), plus a slate of Second World War titles.

Germany’s ZDF Enterprises has picked up a package of history documentaries for ZDF’s digital channels, among them INA’s Great War of Nations (7×60′) and the docudrama More Than Just Enemies (2×52’).

Swiss broadcaster SRF has acquired 20 hours of natural history and social-themed titles, among them are Nautilusfilm’s King of the Seas, How Animals Feel and Tellux Film’s Corinne’s Secret.

Lastly, Sky Arts Germany picked up a 20-hour package of arts programmes, among them NHK’s Samurai Architect Tadao Ando, Hermann Vaske’s Bra Wars and Academy Award-winning Inocente.
