A trio of Asian broadcasters have picked up a series about the future of robotics, from Australia’s Flame Distribution.

Next Step Media (Thailand), Channel News Asia (Singapore) and Daye Transmedia (China) have all taken Age of Robots, which was produced by Kepach Productions for Italian pubcaster Rai.

The 6×52’ series explores robotic developments around the world and looks at the discovery of some of the most important discoveries made in the sector.

The broadcasters have also acquired A Model Adventure (4×52’), a Candid Films production that sees catwalk model Kate Peck put her glamourous life on hold to take on four epic adventures across Australia.

The firms also picked up culinary series Sachie’s Kitchen (11×23’), from Top Shelf, and Fixing My Brain (1×60’) from Matter of Fact Media, a one-off documentary that challenges our preconceptions of who we are, how we learn and how we teach our children.

Flame’s sales were made during the recent Asia TV Forum and Market (ATF) held in conjunction with Screen Singapore.

The company recently acquired the third season of Tony Robinson’s Walking Through History from Wildfire Films for Channel 4 UK and the third run of Paul & Nick’s Good Food Trip from Waddell Media.
