Armoza upgrades DTV schedule

Russian channel DTV is the latest broadcaster to acquire Upgrade, a gameshow format from Israel-based Armoza Formats.

Upgrade goes into people’s homes and challenges them to bet their used and damaged belongings on their ability to answer trivia questions. If they are successful, brand new items are delivered to the house, but failure sees existing possessions taken away.

Mir Reality is producing 30 episodes titled Obmen Bytovoi Tekhniki (Home Appliances Exchange) for DTV and the series will start airing daily from March 12 at 14.00.

Upgrade recently launched on RTS in Switzerland and Channel A in South Korea and is the third Armoza Formats sale to Russia in 12 months. Previously, dating format Foreplay went to MTV Russia and Comedians at Work was picked up by CTC.
