Armoza, Mediapro incubate Ovo format

Ovo uses ‘confession booths’ placed in 10 cities

Spanish channels operator and production group Mediapro has linked up with Israeli distributor Armoza Formats on a factual entertainment format being launched at MipTV.

Ovo, from Mediapro and Spanish duo Phileas Productions and Bat-Dor Ojalvo, uses egg-shaped ‘confession booths’ placed in 10 cities to ask people about their concerns and share their stories. The show will be distributed globally by Armoza.

Avi Armoza, CEO of Armoza Formats, described Ovo as “an original and expressive format that has the ability to open up the most intriguing and personal stories as they captivate audiences everywhere.”
