Armoza dramas head to Portugal’s SIC

Thriller Allenby aired in Israel on Channel 10

Portuguese broadcaster SIC has acquired two dramas, including psychological thriller Allenby, from Israeli distributor Armoza Formats.

SIC has taken Israeli drama Allenby (12×30’) and Brazilian series No Return (13×60’), which are distributed by Armoza as finished series and formats.

Based on a novel by Gadi Taub, Allenby is set in Tel Aviv’s night life. When a beautiful and alluring stripper falls victim to an assault, she is plunged into a nightmare only she can put right.

No Return follows a group of climbers lost in the Brazilian rainforest

The series was made by Inosan Productions and aired locally on Channel 10. It was subsequently remade by the Brazilian arm of Turner network TNT. SIC has taken the Channel 10 version.

Produced by Brazilian outfits Panorâmica and Chatrone, No Return is a survival story in which a group of mountain climbers get caught up in a flash food leaving them stranded in the Brazilian jungle. It originally aired on Record TV and A&E in Brazil.
