RLTV, Next Avenue ally for 50+

US cable network RLTV and PBS-affiliated online content portal Next Avenue have teamed up to produce content for the 50+ demographic.

Under the agreement, RLTV will license Next Avenue content and the latter will develop exclusive online content for RLTV in the future. The content begins appearing on RLTV effective immediately.

“A content partnership between Next Avenue and RLTV makes perfect sense,” said Next Avenue president Judy Diaz . “Both organisations have a similar mission in seeking to serve the 50+ audience. What’s more, independently we focused our work on similar content categories.”

Next Avenue was launched by Twin Cities Public Television last year in partnership with PBS, APT and public television stations across the US. RLTV, meanwhile, launched in 2008 and can now be seen in over 25 million US homes.
