Canada’s DHX Media has closed a number of VoD and SVoD sales in Europe, Africa and Latin America.
The firm said it has sealed licence deals for unspecified programming with Tesco-owned Blinkbox for the UK and Ireland; Dailymotion for France, Switzerland and Belgium; and Canal Play Infinity and Belgacom in Belgium.
Elsewhere in Europe, a number of DHX shows will be available on-demand in Italy through Media Network, while in Slovakia VoD content will be provided by Voyo. In Greece and Cyprus, deals have been struck with Riverdrop and in Turkey with D-Smart and TTNet.
In Russia, TVZor has acquired a number of DHX series in SVoD and AVoD deals. The Canuck firm has also sealed similar deals with Wananchi Broadcasting for the East African market and Opticom for Argentina.
