Music specialty network Fuse in the US has picked up Ex-Wives of Rock, adding the 14x30′ series to its new Friday night block of programming.
The series, from Canada’s Tricon Films & Television, features four former wives of 1980s rock musicians: Athena Lee, ex-wife of Scorpions drummer James Kottak; Sharise Neil, ex-wife of Mötley Crüe frontman Vince Neil; Bobbie Brown, ex-wife of Warrant frontman Jani Lane; and Susan ‘Blue’ Dixon, the former wife of Warrant bassist Jerry Dixon.
It watches as they get on with life now that the glory days of marriage and heavy metal have passed.
The series debuted earlier this year on Canada’s Slice.
Fuse is owned by MSG Media, itself an arm of The Madison Square Gardens Company, which also owns the famous New York arena, several other channels and three sports teams.
Its new Friday night block also includes Funny or Die’s Billy on the Street and the behind-the-scenes concert series Warped Roadies.
