Travel rolls with RV series

Travel Channel in the US has ordered a new series titled Rock My RV, from rock musician Bret Michaels (Nashville Star) and California-based BCII Productions.

The 8x30′ series will see Michaels and a team of designers overhaul a number of recreational vehicles into “outrageous, badass, hooked-up mobile mansions.” Michaels is best-known as the lead singer of the band Poison and star of the VH1 reality show Rock of Love. His long-standing interest in RVs is said to stem from his many concert tours with Poison.

Production on the show starts next month, with Scripps Networks-owned Travel aiming to air it in 2013. Rock My RV is produced by BCII (Shark Fights, Extreme RVs) with BCII’s Bud Brutsman exec producing with Patrick McManamee of Travel Channel.
