London-based indie Bedlam Productions has taken on two new programming execs to lead its expansion in both television and feature films.
Olwyn Silvester joins as director of production from Atlantic Productions, where she had held the same role for five years.
She most recently oversaw production of Kingdom of Plants 3D with David Attenborough and the Emmy-winning series David Attenborough’s First Life.
In her newly created role, Silvester will oversee all productions and will be responsible for expanding Bedlam’s output in factual, TV dramas, feature films and new media.
She will work alongside CEO Gareth Unwin, MD Simon Egan and creative director Simon Breen, who joined last year to spearhead the company’s push into TV.
Independent producer Stella Nwimo is joining the production team, taking the lead on a number of film and TV projects. Nwimo is currently in post-production on psychological thriller Rearview, which stars Misfits actor Antonia Thomas.
