US cablenet Spike TV has ordered a 10-part series in which an extreme animal handler rescues, captures, and relocates dangerous animals.
Urban Tarzan (10x30′) stars the man formerly known as John Brennan, who legally changed his name to UrbanTarzan. The series follows UrbanTarzan as he runs the Urban Tarzan Animal Relocation team, a privately-owned exotic and dangerous animal relocation service.
The show, produced by Asylum Entertainment, is set to debut on the channel during spring next year.
Last month Spike ordered more episodes of Auction Hunters, Bar Rescue and American Digger, and revived one of its old reality formats, The Joe Schmo Show.
