BBC America HD joins Verizon service

NEWS BRIEF: Verizon has added a high definition feed of BBC Worldwide’s US channel BBC America to its FiOS IPTV service.

The HD station, which takes slot number 689 on the EPG, will be part of FiOS TV’s Extreme HD and Ultimate HD packages. Verizon said it also plans to add BBC America HD to its video-on-demand offering.
