NEWS BRIEF: Canadian educational broadcaster TVO is making the leap to Google TV with the debut of its own Android app.
The app, which debuts on Friday, streams TVO programmes including lecture series Big Ideas, current affairs programme The Agenda with Steve Paikin and other shows, including many feature-length docs, straight to TVs via the set-top Google device.
