A reality format from Stephen Lambert (Wife Swap, Secret Millionaire, Undercover Boss) that mixes the food and talent competition genres has been picked up by US cable network Lifetime.

Stephen Lambert
Supermarket Superstars follows aspiring “food product inventors” – aka chefs – who pitch their recipes and food ideas to a panel of industry experts for the chance to have their product launched across the US in a major grocery chain.
Produced by The Weinstein Company (Project Runway) and Studio Lambert (Undercover Boss), the 10-part series will be executive produced by Lambert, showrunner Rhett Bachner, Bob and Harvey Weinstein, Meryl Poster and Barbara Schneeweiss of The Weinstein Company, Eli Holzman of Studio Lambert, and Rob Sharenow, Gena McCarthy and Stephen Schwartz of Lifetime.
Stacy Keibler (Men at Work, Chuck, Psych, How I Met Your Mother) will host the show. The international rights to the format are expected to be handled by Studio Lambert parent All3Media but this has yet to be confirmed.
