Kuwaiti TV channels have acquired a combined 490 hours of programming from UK sales house Passion Distribution.
The first deal, brokered by local agent The Complex Box Office Solutions, sees pubcaster KTV2 picking up a package comprising mainly food and property programming, including Splash Media’s Cooks to Market (20x60′).
Scripps Networks International programmes, including the entire Crasher property makeover franchise (372x30′) and five seasons of competition reality series Design Star (46x60′), are also included in the KTV2 deal.
A further deal for Scripps food series, including Ace of Cakes seasons nine and 10, was secured with Kuwaiti firm Multi Marque, while another saw Physique TV buy Diet Tribe (13x60′).
