UK-based children’s educational prodco Yellow House English (YHE) has appointed its first sales director, as it moves into distribution and expands its content portfolio.

Art Gniadek
Art Gniadek has joined the company and will be at MipJunior and Mipcom in Cannes this October with a new series, Tom & Keri, and plans to boost distribution of YHE’s first show, Baby Beetles.
Gniadek is based in Poland, where YHE’s parent Claire Multimedia International (CMI) is located. He joined from Polish technology producer Polkomtel and has previously worked in sales in a variety of fields.
“Art will develop client relationships, which will give me time to focus on research,” YHE founder Claire Selby told C21.
YHE creates multimedia products, including TV series, apps and books, to teach children under 10 to speak English. Baby Beetles launched in 2010 and Gniadek will head to Mipcom with a finished episode of preschool property Tom & Keri.
YHE is also developing TV series for the 5-8, 7-10 and 10-plus age groups, which are set to roll out over the next two years. The firm is a subsidiary of UK/Polish joint venture CMI, which also houses Polish animation and creative writing arm Yellow House Ltd.
