NBCUniversal International Television is aiming to strengthen its pay-TV networks online after appointing a new exec to its channels team.
Bruce Mitchell will be VP digital for NBCU’s international channels division, focusing on building the presence of its pay-TV networks around the world and working with digital teams in each territory. Mitchell will be based in London and report to Lee Raftery, exec VP of international marketing.
He will also be responsible for leading the Los Angeles-based international digital team for E! Entertainment Television.
Raftery said Mitchell’s arrival was “key to evolving our international channel brands online, in social media and across multiple platforms, around the world.”
Mitchell was most recently digital product and innovation director at Bauer Radio, where he was responsible for product development and innovation across new media platforms.
His appointment follows the recent additions of Marco Giusti as VP of creative and Seema Kotecha as VP of marketing.
