US distributor Kino Lorber is making 35 of its films and documentaries available on VoD platform Hulu.
Titles from the company’s library of more than 700 films will be offered on the free ad-supported platform Hulu as well as the subscription service Hulu Plus.
Documentaries included in the package include African music feature Fela Kuti: Music is the Weapon, Genius Within: The Inner Life of Glenn Gould and Two in the Wave, a doc focused on the friendship between filmmakers Jean-Luc Godard and François Truffaut.
Classic feature films including Blue Angel (1930) and Buster Keaton’s The General (1926) are also part of the deal.
Kino Lorber CEO Richard Lorber said: “Our presence on Hulu will allow us to present our selection of classic and arthouse films to a new audience seeking an experience beyond the latest blockbuster.”
