The US arm of UK prodco ITV Studios (ITVS) has linked up with the producer behind MTV’s hit reality series Made.
ITVS America has signed an overall deal with One Louder Productions, which is led by president and CEO Bob Kusbit.
In a career spanning 25 years, Kusbit has previously been president of chatshow host Maury Povich’s MoPo Productions, and was also senior VP of production at MTV, where he launched music video request show Total Request Live.
He launched One Louder in 2002 and signed an overall deal with MTV Networks. He then became head of development for CMT (Country Music Television) in 2007, where he oversaw series such as Gone Country and My Big Redneck Wedding while retaining his position at his own prodco.
Kusbit returned to One Louder full time in January 2011, producing new episodes of Made. He is preparing to launch a new MTV series, Totally Clueless, this fall and also has projects based at A&E Network and TruTV.
Paul Buccieri, MD of ITVS International and president and CEO of ITVS America, said of Kusbit: “His experience, extensive industry contacts and his company’s project base and team, makes One Louder Productions and Bob ideal partners at ITV Studios as we continually grow our worldwide presence.”
One Louder is the latest development partner to join ITVS America, which has previously signed deals with David Leepson’s Leepson Bounds Entertainment, factual producer Kowalski TV and advertising and marketing agency M3 Creative.
The prodco’s current slate includes Hell’s Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmares, Four Weddings and The Jeremy Kyle Show.
