Dani Harmer
CBBC has commissioned a spin-off series from its children’s sitcom Dani’s House, in which the main character moves into a castle.
Dani’s Castle (13x30′) will be produced by UK kids’ prodco The Foundation, the Zodiak-owned company that also produced the five seasons of Dani’s House on CBBC.
The show features Dani Harmer, who played Tracey Beaker on CBBC, playing herself also a teenage actor. The new series sees Harmer inherit a dilapidated castle, which she moves into in an attempt to turn it into a tourist attraction.
The series was commissioned by the previous controller of CBBC Damian Kavananagh, who has since been replaced by Cheryl Taylor.
