European production giant Banijay Group has set up a reality content division as part of its French operations.
Banijay Productions France has named producer Florence Fayard as head of the unit, which will build on reality shows such as Les Ch’its (Party Workers), made for W9.
Banijay Group bought into the US reality market two years ago with the acquisition of Bunim Murray Productions, but it is now looking to build up its credentials in the genre back at its Paris HQ.
Fayard has been a producer at Banijay Productions France since 2010.
