Truckers stay parked at C5

UK broadcaster Channel 5 (C5) has renewed its deal for US reality series Ice Road Truckers and its spin-off.

The sixth season of Ice Road Truckers (12x60′) will air on C5 in 2013, after it premieres on A+E Networks’ pay-TV channel History in the UK. The 13-episode second season of Ice Road Truckers: Deadliest Roads will be broadcast on C5 this year.

C5 acquisitions executive Kelly Hornsby said Ice Road Truckers would form part of the channel’s schedule “for years to come.”
