HBO has made the pilot episode of its new Aaron Sorkin drama The Newsroom available to watch online for free.
Following its Sunday debut on HBO, the episode is now available on sites including HBO.com, YouTube, DailyMotion and TV.com. Viewers will be able to catch the episode for the next month.
The drama, set at a fictional cable news network, has been snapped up by buyers around the world since last month’s LA Screenings.
The inaugural episode proved a ratings winner for HBO, attracting 2.1 million viewers – only slightly fewer than the 2.2 million that tuned in for the first season premiere of Game of Thrones – but has received mixed reviews.
