DCD Media-owned UK prodco Prospect Pictures has appointed Nikki Cooper as executive producer of popular factual.

Beginning immediately, Cooper will join Prospect’s London office to oversee development of new lifestyle formats and original food programming projects.
Her appointment is a first for DCD’s new MD of production Tim Hammond.
Cooper joined last month from UK indie Denham Productions, where she was responsible for series such as ITV1′s The Hungry Sailors. She previously collaborated with Prospect on UKTV’s Great Food Live and ITV1′s Great Cooks Challenge.
The news comes after sports betting firm Timeweave became DCD’s leading shareholder after converting some of the company’s debt it owns into a 29.99% stake.
Prospect’s productions include Channel 4 Dispatches doc Gipsy Eviction: The Fight for Dale Farm, BBC2 drama Shirley and BBC3 doc series Misbehaving Mums to Be.
