UKTV’s Good Food channel has commissioned Cactus TV to make a new series about Indian cuisine.
Madhur Jaffrey’s Curry Nation (working title) will see the Indian cook explore the British love affair with her country’s food. Jaffrey will journey around the UK exploring spices and flavours from her native cuisine and the impact they have had on the country’s cooking.
The 10x30′ series will debut in the fourth quarter of this year on Good Food and has been commissioned by UKTV’s senior commissioning editor Catherine Catton. The executive producer is Amanda Ross.
Cactus TV is also producing 10-part series The Roux Legacy, which will air on Good Food in July.
