UK broadcaster Channel 4 has commissioned local indie TwoFour to make a new historical comedy panel show.
A Short History of Everything Else (6x60′) will air later this year. It was commissioned by the channel’s new head of factual Ralph Lee and is to be presented by comedian and host of the channel’s Time Team history series Griff Rhys Jones.
The programme aims to provide an alternative view on social history with teams of celebrities competing to prove that they remember most about the past.
The show will be executive produced by Andy Mackenzie and Rachel Watson and series produced by Darren Sole.
