Driver Dan
Middle Eastern- and UK-produced kids’ show Driver Dan’s Train Story has found homes on broadcasters in Scandinavia, the Americas, Ireland and Korea.
BBC Latin America has picked up the first two seasons for its kids’ net CBeebies, along with MTV3/Juniori in Finland, TVA and Yoopa Channel in French-speaking Canada, TG4 in Ireland and Skylife in Korea.
The hybrid animation/live-action show is the first Middle Eastern/UK children’s coproduction and comes from Abu Dhabi’s Twofour54 and former ITV children’s controller Estelle Hughes’ 3Line Media.
It comprises an Arabic version, which runs on the Baraem Channel in the Middle East and North Africa and an English version for the UK’s CBeebies.
