Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria will step behind the camera after selling scripts to two US networks through her prodco UnbeliEVA-ble Entertainment.
Longoria will exec-produce Vega vs Vega, produced by Warner Bros Television for The CW, about a female lawyer who works with her mother, according to reports.
Meanwhile, ABC has picked up Behind the Seams, a comedy about two Latino sisters who open a bridal shop together.
Longoria is also adapting Mexican telenovela Soy Tu Duena (aka A Woman of Steel), about an heiress who loses her money, with Televisa, ABC Studios and Lionsgate Television.
Earlier this year, ABC announced the eighth season of Desperate Housewives, which began in September, would be its last.
