UK commercial broadcaster ITV has completed its takeover of Channel Islands-based Channel Television.
Plans for the buy-out were first revealed last month when ITV said it had entered into negotiations with the privately owned Yattendon Group to acquire the channel.
The deal will bring Channel TV into line with 11 other regional broadcasters owned by ITV across the UK, which share primetime content such as The X Factor on top of local content including news. Financial terms were not disclosed.
