PR man to run Channel 31

NEWS BRIEF: Russian broadcaster CTC Media has appointed a former government PR man as director general of its Kazakhstan net Channel 31.

Bagdad Kodzhahmetov assumes his new position immediately, overseeing development and implementation of CTC strategy in the CIS republic. His previous jobs include PR chief for the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan.
