CW brings in another Ringer

US network The CW has backed all three of its new drama series airing this fall, including Sarah Michelle Gellar’s Ringer, with full season orders.

CW is sticking with Ringer, supernatural drama The Secret Circle and Rachel Bilson-starrer Hart of Dixie after canning its only other new fall series, reality-based H8R, last week.

Ringer has played well with US audiences since its debut five weeks ago, drawing between 1.7 million and 2.8 million to its Tuesday 21.00 slot, where it follows 90210.

The series was created by Eric Charmelo and Nicole Snyder, and produced by CBS Television Studios (CBSTVS) and Warner Bros Television (WBTV).

Dixie, which airs at 21.00 on Mondays, has held steady ratings since its premiere last month, pulling in between 1.88 million and 1.57 million for its first three episodes.

It is produced by Bonanza Productions in association with Fake Empire, WBTV and CBSTVS.

Meanwhile, The Secret Circle, which airs Thursdays at 21.00, has also won a full season after debuting with 3.05 million viewers, though ratings fell to 1.96 million for episode four.

It is from Outerbanks Entertainment and Alloy Entertainment in association with WBTV and CBSTVS.
