US network ABC has picked up Endemol USA’s reality gameshow Wipeout for a fifth season.
Wipeout, which debuted in 2008, sees 24 contestants tackle the world’s largest obstacle course until one of them is crowned champion.
The pick-up includes winter and summer episodes of the series, which will run throughout 2011/12.
The format has been sold into more than 30 territories worldwide.
