APTN’s Merchants go Beyond

Beyond Distribution has acquired international distribution rights to Canadian broadcaster Aboriginal Peoples Television Network (APTN) documentary series Merchants of the Wild.

Merchants of the Wild was developed and produced by Little Bear Big Wolf Pictures and Toronto-based Buck Productions for APTN in partnership with the Canada Media Fund and Rogers Cable Network Fund.

Sean Buckley of Buck is an executive producer and mentor on the docuseries, which APTN will distribute in Canada. UK- and Australia-based Beyond will take care of all international territories.

Merchants of the Wild takes viewers back in time as six First Nations, Métis and Inuit adventurers learn what it took to survive as they travel 16th-century fur trade routes used by Oji-Cree ancestors.
