Antena 1 adds Armoza’s The Four

The Four is set for a second run on Fox

Romanian broadcaster Antena 1 has ordered a primetime singing competition based on a show created by Armoza Formats.

The Four (13×90/120’) will be adapted from Israeli format The Final Four, which was recently taken to a second season by the Fox network in the US, where it is produced by ITV Entertainment in association with Armoza.

The Romanian adaptation is set to air this month and consists of 12 episodes. Isabella Carmu, CEO of Antena TV Group, said it would be “locally tailored by one of our top production teams.”

The Four sees the final contestants revealed in the show’s first episode. The singers must continue to impress a panel of judges to ensure they retain their place in the final four and other contestants can challenge the four by applying via an app throughout the season.

The deal was announced by Carmu and Avi Armoza, CEO of Armoza Formats.
