AMC’s IFC extends Baroness run

AMC Networks-owned US cablenet IFC has acquired the third season of all-female comedy series Baroness von Sketch Show.

The network picked up the first two seasons earlier this year from Banijay Rights and aired them back-to-back this summer.

The series explores daily life and is performed and written by Meredith MacNeill, Aurora Browne, Jennifer Whalen and Carolyn Taylor. It is produced by Frantic Films and originated on Canada’s CBC, which will air the third run in 2018.
