AMC’s Feed the Beast

AMC in the US has cancelled Feed the Beast, its drama series based on Danish series Bankerot and starring David Schwimmer, after one season.

The US cablenet will not be moving forward with the show after disappointing ratings for its 10-episode first season, according to US reports.

Produced by AMC Studios and Lionsgate in association with Clyde Phillips Productions, Feed the Beast follows two best friends who take one last shot at their dream of opening a restaurant together.

Bankerot began airing on Danish pubcaster DR in 2014 and was created by Kim Fupz Aakeson.
