Outrider has Schwarzenegger attached to star and exec produce, alongside Mace Neufeld who is working on Amazon’s forthcoming drama Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan.

The show is being written by Mark Montgomery and Trey Callaway, who also exec produces, and follows a deputy sheriff tasked with capturing an outlaw in Oklahoma during the late 1800s.

Meanwhile, Amazon Prime Video in India has ordered reality show Skulls & Roses in collaboration with a local prodco run by presenting duo Raghu Ram and Rajiv Lakshman

The series will be fronted by Ram and Lakshman and produced with their company Monozygotic, marks the streaming company’s latest original series in India.

It combines romance with adventure by inviting participants to couple up on one island before sending them to another to test their dedication to the relationship.

Vijay Subramaniam, director of content at Amazon Prime Video India, said the show would “bring a new bold concept to the unscripted content space that will continue to reinvent the way customers consume content in India.”

Ram added: “In today’s age of dating apps, young couples are finding it increasingly difficult to deal with the problems of a committed relationship. Consequently, more and more youngsters are making stress-free life choices of self-love and self-growth.

“This generation is increasingly facing a dilemma of we vs me. Skulls & Roses magnifies both aspects of this dilemma as well as the consequences of their choices.”
