Amazon Studios in the US has promoted comedy head Joe Lewis and drama development chief Morgan Wandell, while also renewing its original drama series Bosch for a fourth run.

Lewis is becoming head of half-hour and drama series development. Wandell, meanwhile, is moving to head of international productions, developing original series from outside the US.

Lewis, previously a director of production at 20th Century Fox, joined Amazon Studios in 2012 and has since overseen successful hits including Transparent.

In related news, Amazon has renewed Bosch, which is based on the bestselling Michael Connelly novels, for a fourth run.

The show is currently in production on season three ahead of a 2017 premiere, with the first two seasons available on Amazon Prime Video in the US, UK, Germany, Austria and Japan.
