Amazon, Liberty Global feel The Feed

The Feed is set in a near-future London

Global streamer Amazon and US cable giant Liberty Global have ordered a psychological thriller from The Walking Dead writer Channing Powell and UK prodco Studio Lambert.

The Feed is based on a recently published novel by Nick Clark Windo and will launch as an Amazon Prime Original in the US, Canada and Latin America as well as on Liberty Global’s international cable platforms, including Virgin Media in the UK.

Powell, who has worked on the past five seasons of The Walking Dead, will be co-executive producer and will work as a writer on several episodes.

Studio Lambert execs Susan Hogg (Three Girls) and Stephen Lambert (Gogglebox) will also executive produce, while the lead director is Carl Tibbetts (The Woman in White, Black Mirror, Humans.) Studio Lambert sibling All3Media International will distribute.

The Feed is set in London in the near future and follows the family of a man who invents an omnipresent technology called The Feed. The series marks Liberty Global’s second move into original drama, following the greenlight this summer for The Rook with Starz and Lionsgate.
