Amazon gets Locked Up

Prison drama Locked Up has already gone to Walter Presents in the UK

Amazon in the US has licensed two seasons of a Spanish drama that explores life inside a prison.

Locked Up (aka Vis a Vis) debuted on Atresmedia’s Antena 3 in Spain, where its second season claimed 3.5 million viewers and a 19.9% audience share.

The show is produced by Spanish media giant Mediapro’s Globomedia and has already been picked up by UK-based on-demand service Walter Presents.

The series is sold globally by Imagina International Sales and Atresmedia International Sales.
