All3’s Rellik racks up sales

Rellik follows the hunt for a serial killer in reverse

MIPCOM: HBO Asia has signed a pan-territory deal for All3Media serial killer drama Rellik amid a host of pickups of the show around the world.

The sale to HBO Asia follows a separate deal with HBO Europe earlier this year.

Tele München has also taken rights to the series for Germany and German-speaking territories.

Other firms to have acquired the show include Israel’s DBS satellite service Yes, Flemish pubcaster VRT and Dazzler Media, which has taken DVD/video rights in the UK and Ireland.

Rellik (6×60’) is produced by All3Media-owned New Pictures and Two Brothers Pictures for the UK’s BBC1 and Cinemax in the US. It follows the hunt for a serial killer by telling the story in reverse.

Written by Harry and Jack Williams (The Missing) and executive produced by Willow Grylls (The Missing), Charlie Pattinson (Indian Summers) and Elaine Pyke (The Take), the drama stars Richard Dormer (Game of Thrones) and Jodi Balfour (The Crown).

All3Media International is handling distribution of the series at Mipcom in Cannes this week.
